ANDREW DUNN PROMOTED TO AREA DIRECTOR OF FINANCE FOR NORTH ASIA, HAWAII & SOUTH PACIFIC
 
   

HONOLULU, Hawaii – February 28, 2008 – Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE: MAR) has named Andrew Dunn as area director of finance for the North Asia, Hawaii & South Pacific region where he will oversee 22 Marriott resorts and hotels spanning the JW, Marriott, Renaissance and Courtyard brands. Dunn will report directly to Ed Hubennette, vice president of North Asia, Hawaii & South Pacific.

The resorts he will be responsible for in Hawaii include the newly rejuvenated Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, as well as the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and Kaua’i Marriott Resort & Beach Club.

Most recently, Dunn held a similar role with Marriott’s Australia and New Zealand region. He joined Marriott International in 2004 as director of finance of the 550-room Sydney Harbour Marriott at Circular Quay.

Prior to joining Marriott International, Dunn was based in Singapore and worked for Hilton International as regional director of finance for Asia where he oversaw 18 properties located in seven different countries.

Dunn earned a bachelor of arts in commerce from the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia. He is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia.

Dunn will be based in his native city, Sydney, Australia. He and his wife Stacey have two children.
