KO OLINA, OAHU, Hawaii – June 26, 2008 – 13 proved to be a lucky number for the fine
dining Azul restaurant at the luxurious JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina, as
AAA Hawaii honors it with a prestigious 2009 AAA Four Diamond award.

Manager. The AAA Diamond judging criteria are inspections that include at least one
unannounced inspection each year. Inspectors review and rate exterior, grounds and public areas,
room décor, ambiance and amenities, guest room, bathrooms, housekeeping and maintenance,
management and staff and guest services. Once the inspection process is complete, properties
that meet all requirements receive a rating of one to five Diamonds.
Famed for its creative and unique cuisine, Azul’s elegance and finesse as the resort’s signature
restaurant is considered a gem by food connoisseurs. It is located on the garden level of the resort
